GMPE-estimation implements a one-stage estimation algorithm to estimate ground-motion prediction equations (GMPE) with spatial correlation. It also quantifies the uncertainty of spatial correlation and intensity measure predictions.
Selection of Ground Motion Prediction Equations for the …
2013年12月3日 · Ground motion prediction equations (GMPEs) relate ground motion intensity measures to variables describing earthquake source, path, and site effects. From many...
Trellis chart showing predicted PSAs for pre-selected
The first type of these graphs (Figure 1) show predicted response spectra (color/line style coded for each GMPE) where each graph within the trellis has an x-axis of period and a y-axis of...
GitHub - wltcwpf/GMPE: This package contains commonly used …
2023年10月5日 · This package contains commonly used Ground Motion Prediction Equations (GMPE). It includes five NGA-West2 Models (ASK14, BSSA14, CB14, CY14, and I14) for crustal earthquakes; and four (BC Hyrdo 2011 + 2019, Zhao et al 2016, Parker et al 2020 NGA-Subduction) for subduction earthquakes, and one NGA …
Comparison and selection of ground motion prediction ... - Springer
2024年2月1日 · We first evaluate the inherent quality of local GMPEs, with respect to their underlying datasets, the variables used and their functional forms, to determine a set of candidate GMPEs. Then we investigate how well the predictions from the GMPEs match observations computed from strong-motion records of recent earthquakes in this area.
Ground motion prediction equations 1964-2023 (incomplete)
2024年8月25日 · This online resource summarizes all empirical ground-motion prediction equations (GMPEs), to estimate earth?quake peak ground acceleration (PGA) and elastic response spectral ordinates, published between 1964 and 2023 (inclusive).
Ground motion prediction equations for higher order parameters
2019年3月1日 · In this study, new GMPEs are derived for a total of 21 parameters representing peak amplitude, energy, intensity, frequency, duration and evolutionary characteristics of a ground motion acceleration time history.
Each developer team chose different functional forms for the GMPEs, in order to capture effects that they thought should be modeled. The functional forms are a tradeoff between simplicity of use and being able to represent the complexity in ground motions, due to many physical effects.
Graizer-Kalkan (2015) Ground-Motion Prediction Equation
2017年3月2日 · Graizer-Kalkan (2015) ground motion prediction equation (GMPE) is designed to predict peak-ground acceleration and 5% damped pseudo-spectral acceleration response ordinates for shallow-crustal continental earthquakes to be used in earthquake-engineering applications including probabilistic and deterministic seismic hazard analyses.
Ground motion prediction equation considering combined dataset …
2013年10月1日 · Region specific Ground Motion Predictive Equation (GMPE) is an important input in the seismic hazard analysis for macro- and micro-zonation studies. Few GMPEs developed in India are based on the recorded data and are applicable for a particular range of magnitudes and distances.
