
Great North of Scotland Railway - Wikipedia
The Great North of Scotland Railway (GNSR) was one of the two smallest of the five major Scottish railway companies prior to the 1923 Grouping, operating in the north-east of the country. Formed in 1845, it carried its first passengers the 39 miles (63 km) from Kittybrewster, in Aberdeen, to Huntly on 20 September 1854.

2011年6月4日 · Co-incidentally, there's a photo here on ebay ATM of the GNSR van. As it's shown as being from the HMRS, it may be one of those mentioned above in Tatlow vol 3. It's not the same as the one in the original Tatlow LNER Wagons.

2018年10月3日 · As the OP is modelling the GNSR brake vans of other companies aren't going to be of much use. If you are after accurate models of pre-group wagons then kits are the only real option. If you are not too fussy then there are a few RTR models that can pass as pre-group, such as those new open wagons from Hornby.

1845 The Great North of Scotland Railway (GNSR) was formed in 1845 and received its Parliamentary approval on June 26, 1846, following more than two years’ of local meetings. Its eventual area encompassed the three Scottish counties of Aberdeenshire, Banff and Moray. The railway operated its main line between Aberdeen Waterloo and Keith.
