Gnucap is a general purpose mixed analog and digital circuit simulator. It performs nonlinear dc and transient analyses, fourier analysis, and ac analysis linearized at an operating point.
GNU Circuit Analysis Package - Wikipedia
GNU Circuit Analysis Package (Gnucap) is a general purpose circuit simulator started by Albert Davis [1] in 1993. [2] It is part of the GNU Project. [3] The latest stable version is 0.35 from 2006. The latest development snapshot (as of July 2023) is from June 2023 and is usable.

2024年11月5日 · Gnucap is the GNU Circuit Analysis Package. Gnucap is a modern post-spice circuit simulator with several advantages over Spice derivatives. Gnucap and Modelgen-Verilog support a reasonable subset of Verilog-A, for both structural and behavioural analog/mixed models. Work towards Verilog-AMS with NLnet funding is ongoing.
Gnucap -- What is it?
Gnucap is a general purpose circuit simulator. It performs nonlinear dc and transient analyses, fourier analysis, and ac analysis. It can also be run in batch mode or as a server. Spice compatible models for the MOSFET (level 1-7), BJT, and diode are included in this release.

About Gnucap
2015年12月11日 · Gnucap is a modern “post-spice” analog and mixed signal circuit simulator. Gnucap is designed so it can eventually replace Spice. Today, it can replace Spice in some applications.
Installing Gnucap | gnucap - GitBook
Gnucap consists of a set of models for simulations, simulation algorithms and a user interface. The main user interface is in the main folder. Modelgen is a utility to translate electrical components into models for simulation with Gnucap. To build Gnucap, you should move to a recent tag or branch of the project. You can do this with:

If you prefer a GUI to work with a netlist, there exist Gnucap plugins that allow you to capture a netlist and run an analysis with help of external programs such as Qucs or gEda. The purpose of this chapter however is to look at the most important commands for electrical simulations.
