Nov 7, 2015 · If your kart was built after 2001 and is from a major manufacturer. The rear cross rail should have one or more bends. If this is the case, set your cross between 62 and 67%. Put the right tires on the kart and it will be competitive. If your kart was built prior to 2001 or if it has a straight or angled rear cross rail.

Weight distribution tips? - Bob's 4 Cycle Karting
Aug 14, 2015 · Weight placement for sprint karts is usually low and fairly centered (often on the seat or tabs welded on the chassis). The biggest weight in the kart is the driver, so Left and Rear % can be adjusted by moving the seat as necessary. If you have to get your % numbers through bolt-on weight, the Left Front of the kart would help.

Jun 29, 2023 · Hey guys, looking for some help with my go kart predator 212 engine which dies immediately. Picked up a project kart on Fb marketplace. Had gummed up carb and wouldn’t run, so I gave the carb a really good clean. It would start on starting fluid, but dies as soon as fluid runs out. Fuel tank is clean, gas tank is clean.

Oct 11, 2016 · I can't go on yet because of the picture I have in my head about entering for example turn on on many tracks. Either your going to roll into the start of the turn or your going to ask for more effort from your kart with a quicker turn at the start of your turn or 'turn in'. I'm seeing most asking for more from their kart at the start into turn one.
