Not a lot to do on Goat Island unless you stay at Gurneys or have boat at the Marina. However the walk out over the bridge and along the water is well worth it on a nice day. A quick walk from our hotel on a chilly night, the Newport Harbor Lighthouse was cool to see with the lighted Pell bridge in the background.

2022年4月8日 · Goat Island Lighthouse is a beautiful little lighthouse on (as I’m sure you’ve guessed) Goat Island. The island is part of the city of Newport, and is easily walkable from downtown Newport. In fact, it’s just about a mile from Bowen’s Wharf, which makes for a very pleasant excursion.

Goat Island Marina offers a quiet, relaxing atmosphere in the “City by the Sea,” only minutes away from downtown Newport. Enjoy breathtaking harbor views while relaxing at your slip, or take a quick shuttle ride into town to experience Newport’s revered shopping and exciting nightlife.
