God is a personal, all-powerful, all-knowing, eternal, loving, spirit-composed family currently composed of the Father and Jesus Christ (see John 10:30 - 31, 17:20 - 23, 1John 3:1 - 2). The Being known as the Father is the Sovereign Ruler of all. He has always possessed righteous character and is full of mercy and grace.

Set, the god of storms, as well as the sky goddess Nut were judged in this plague. Also condemned were the god Neper and goddess Nepit who were responsible for grain. Locusts. The eighth plague was a massive swarm of locust which devoured any plant or tree that still existed in the nation (Exodus 10:1 - 20).

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God . . . All things came into being through Him, and not even one thing that was created came into being without Him. And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us . . . (John 1:1, 3, 14, HBFV).

In John 4:23 he tells the woman that God is seeking those who are willing to worship him "in spirit and in truth." The Scriptures say that the Word of God is true (John 1:14) and that Jesus is Truth (Psalms 119:160; John 14:6) incarnate. It also states that the Bible is a lamp to guide the ways of a person (Psalms 119:105).

The messenger from God not only stops the death but also reveals to us why the sacrifice was required. The voice from heaven states the following. "Do not lay your hand upon the lad, nor do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me." (Genesis 22:12, HBFV). God Didn't Know ...

The apostle John reveals the truth about this trait when he says, "The one who does not love does not know God because God is love . . . And the one who fears has not been made perfect in the love of God" (1John 4:8, 18). By lovingkindness and truth iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the Lord one keeps away from evil (Proverbs 16:6).

God's law required those committing such acts to be punished with the death penalty (Exodus 21:12 - 14, Leviticus 20:10, etc.). The prophet Nathan is sent to confront the king with his great sins. After repenting of what he had done, God extended mercy to David by having Nathan tell him, "The Lord also has put away your sin; you shall not die ...

And to the angel of the church in Sardis, write: These things says He Who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars . . . (Revelation 3:1). And proceeding from the throne were lightnings and thunders and voices; and seven lamps of fire, which are the seven spirits of God, were burning before the throne (Revelation 4:5, see also 5:6).

The concept that God in heaven utilizes a feminine persona in which to interact with humans is a Biblical false doctrine that owes some of its origins to pagan goddess worship. It exalts feminist reasoning over the straightforward understanding of what the Bible says. Like the created angelic realm, God is not male or female (Luke 20:34 - 36).

God is patient, kind, loving and longsuffering with humans. He will do whatever it takes to convince every human that His way is the best and ONLY way to exist for all eternity. There is, however, a time when all humans will have to decide whether to base their existence on selfless love or selfish lusts.
