2024年8月28日 · Joshua in the Bible began life in Egypt as a slave, under cruel Egyptian taskmasters, but he rose to become one of the greatest leaders of Israel through faithful obedience to God. As successor to Moses, Joshua led the people of Israel into the Promised Land of Canaan.

Joshua was trained by God and Moses for 40 years to lead the people into the Promised Land. He witnessed the miracles of God in Egypt and the wilderness. He led Israel into battle against the Amalekites.

Let's look at five attributes of God's nature, which point us to viewing God correctly. God is who He is, not who we try to make Him into.

Be strong and of good courage; be not affrighted, neither be thou dismayed: for Jehovah thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. I've commanded you to be strong and brave. Don't ever be afraid or discouraged!
