Shiki's attack can kill higher beings than Gojo. If he got cut, it's "wallahi, he's finished." However Gojo can fly, teleport and move really fast, and his attacks are long ranged, so all he has to do is keeping his distance and carpet bomb the surrounding area. Gojo's super fast and strong, plus he has tons of AOE attacks.

Shiki could "kill" the Infinity, just like the other attacks. But with teleportation and reaction speed, this will allow him to dodge Shiki's fatal attacks.
