2023年3月28日 · No, Atlantic Blue is new for the GTI with Mk8. The 2019 came in Dark Iron Blue and Night Blue. Atlantic Blue is more of a deep/dark blue than even Night Blue. It also came in Cornflower Blue if you got a Rabbit Edition. This only pretains to North America, not sure about anything overseas.

2021年12月27日 · I have an MK7 in night blue metallic which has garnered many compliments, but I really really like the brighter Atlantic blue, probably what I’ll upgrade to after the winter. I’ve read that VW has been issuing OTA updates to address some infotainment complaints so it will surely improve in time.

2021年10月9日 · The light bar does not bother me. In person - and at night - it adds some flare to the front of the car and make it more distinguishable. From what I have seen, it does not stay on with the DRLs if headlights are off. I do wish the VW badge was illuminated though...

2022年2月26日 · I’m 3 weeks in to ownership of a June 2021 GTI in Atlantic Blue. I had a mk7.5 PP in the same colour which I (perhaps foolishly) sold last year: I spent the intervening year in an M3. An epic car in every way and something I’m glad to have owned: So here is the mk8. The options fitted are the 19” alloys and a reversing camera.
