The Gospel of Thomas (also known as the Coptic Gospel of Thomas[1]) is a non-canonical [2] sayings gospel. It was discovered near Nag Hammadi, Egypt, in 1945 among a group of books known as the Nag Hammadi library.

2024年9月5日 · One argues that the author of the Gospel of Thomas knew and used Tatian’s Diatessaron that was written around AD 170. Also evident in the Gospel of Thomas is late traditions distinctive to Eastern, Syrian Christianity in the second century, with one scholar dating Thomas no earlier than the last quarter of the second century.
