This is a community focused on goth STYLE. We keep the definition of 'goth' loose around here, but posts should be relevant to gothic style and goth fashion. Inspiration from music, movies, fashion, books, aesthetics, and makeup are all welcome. Posts that are off topic or irrelevant to the community may be removed at our discretion.

Goth aesthetic look which should include 2-3 of the following: black or unnatural hair colors, tattoos, piercing, goth makeup/lashes, outfit/footwear, and accessories. Stand alone 1 item; choker, guarders and/or fishnets does not encompasses a Goth lifestyle.

2021年5月1日 · Goth = Interest in Goth music be it Goth Rock, Deathrock, Darkwave, and/or Ethereal Wave. E-Girl = I mean... It's just an Alternative style. No music attached to it, just an aesthetic that came about from teenagers in the late 2010s, also influenced by some K-Pop bands from what I've observed.

Bingo. Cartoons were full of goth girl characters. Gwen (Total Drama Island), Sam (Danny Phantom), Hex Girls (Scooby-Doo), Shego (Kim Possible, not technically a 'goth' I guess but kind of had the appearance), etc. They were so prevalent in that era that it planted the seed within a bunch of us early 2000s dudes.
