Palingenesis (聖杯転臨, Seihai Tenrin?), more commonly known as Grail Ascension, is the feature that lets any Servant Ascend beyond their intended maximum level, with the cost of the rarest material in the game - Holy Grail. It was added to the game on the first anniversary.

Grail Front is a new type of event/game mechanic where 2 Masters will battle it out with their Servants on a special map. It starts with SETUP, where the player chooses their desired Servant and Craft Essence, then presses the START button.

There are two ideas you can go with when it comes to grail ascension. The most popular is to just grail servants you personally like, because the stat boost from grail ascension is not really all that huge. The other is to grail your good 4* servants to 90, because that's probably the most optimal use from a min-max perspective.

2020年3月16日 · Grail Ascension stat bonus is linear in nature. Meaning, at level 100, the total stat value is the max natural value of a servant multiplied by a certain number depending on servant rarity. 5-stars get about 9% more stats, 4-stars get 21%, 3-stars get 35%, 2-stars get 44% and 1 stars get 52%.

Barghest is one of the best for soloing a grail front. I also learned that while out of battle, skill cooldowns tick down, but active skill effects don't. So I managed to stack her skills twice and was able to heal a total of 6000 in a single turn.

Who have you chosen to grail to 100 or 120 and why? I know it is a personal option, but I am still curious to see the reasons people choose to grail certain servants. I haven't grailed a Caster or a Rider, so I'm specifically curious about servants of those classes 🙂. To 100: Godjuna because he is one of my favorite servants.
