2024年12月1日 · Titanium-Titanium Carbide Metal Matrix Composites (MMC) were fabricated via Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) taking advantage of the in-situ reaction between Titanium and Carbon to form Titanium Carbide. Two sets of MMCs were manufactured, with low (TiC-L) and high (TiC-H) laser energy density, respectively.
