The Great Ife Alumni Association draws its membership from graduates and associates of the University of Ife, Ile-Ife, Nigeria (renamed Obafemi Awolowo University in 1987). Since the late 60s, graduates of the university had come together to form an alumni association with the cities of Lagos and Ibadan as the main hubs.

The Great Ife Alumni Hall of Distinction is an International Hall of Fame and a directory of recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award for Excellence. It excludes recipients of any awards given by local chapters or branches of the Alumni Organization.
