2023年4月8日 · Gshade filled a market niche as an easy-to-use shader tool - just download and install as opposed to searching out shader packs - and from that point became the defacto shader tool of the game. Many people who used Gshade had either never heard of ReShade or heard of it but assumed it was still too hard to set up properly.

Basically I ported some GShade features into ReShade: ui_bind annotations in effect files. This feature is widely used in GShade style MultiLUT.fx, Layer.fx etc, allowing you to quickly switch things like image source & preprocessor values from a uniform widget. Shader Cloning/Duplication from GShade 3.x. ~~Even the bugs are generally the same.~~

2023年2月7日 · The dev of GShade added Malware that instantly shuts down your PC if you run GShade using the workaround a 16 year old kid made to circumvent the forced updates wiping presets. When asked why he did this, the Dev's response was because he was "teaching the kid a lesson" and that "the payload could have been worse."

2022年12月27日 · Same. I like the Shb defaults but switched to either Ipsusu Questing Melon or Neneko x EC Vivid Gameplay. What works best for me now is starting with Espresso Glow, changing the lut setting to pastel to fix the brightness issue and taking a few things I like from Neneko to make the colors more vibrant but still good fps for my old hardware.

2023年4月28日 · yeah and gshade prior to doing something malicious was considered the most widely acceptable third party tool due to how unintrusive it was, how it wasnt a cheat and merely a cosmetic, how many people used it, and even had a community manager on the official forums say that gshade was acceptable to use

2022年1月24日 · Up top, click the dropdown and look through the presets. A guy I know uses "PROJECT CRYSTAL Gameplay" which is under gshade-presets/GShade. They were using "OMGEorzea Gameplay" but realized it's too dark sometimes. Once you click on a preset, you should see the game change immediately.

2023年12月14日 · Depends on what kind of look you want - I see a lot of people use presets that have the shading/shadow on (setting is called MXAO) and if you just google “popular sims 4 gshade presets) you’d get a lot of suggestions! I don’t really like presets that make my game look too warm/orangey so I’m using ellcrze 2.0 !
