2023年3月13日 · These weapons are also what I think best encompass the "yin and yang of GTFO." On one end, you have bursty weapons that you want to conserve ammo until the right moment, and their skill expression takes the form of maximizing their damage output even in low pressure situations.

I put in 400 hours to this wonderful game a while back, was happy to see they brought back all the rundowns. Been doing a new play-through with friends, and I’m now wondering what weapons are the best options at this point? With everything they have added in and buffed/nerfed I’m very curious. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!

2022年6月21日 · I like the intro of the thermal weapons but they feel weird/unsatisfying to shoot because you cant see the blood splatter. Heavy pistol is awesome though. Wish they'd introduce melee weapon skins, bring back the other hammers!

2021年12月15日 · Here's a spreadsheet with some helpful numbers for various weapons and enemies in GTFO's 1.0 release. FYI, there are spoilers, and these numbers are datamined (see note below).

The strength of secondary weapons depends heavily on the mission and hazards faced (types of enemies, range of encounters, etc). A weapon could easily be S tier on one mission, and D tier on another.

Rundown 6 introduced Scattergun. Rundown 7 introduced PDW, High Cal, PR and HEL Shotgun, adding thermal scopes a brand new and incredibly interesting way that weapons could interact with dark areas, fog and even shadows enemy variants. And then in Rundown 8, the crowning release, we got some melee reskins and what mostly feels like weapons reskins.

2022年1月26日 · Main weapons are strong semi-auto options that counter-balance MG by letting you pick your shots. Assault Rifle or Burst Rifle + Shotgun or Scattergun: Shotgun is a very powerful generalist while scattergun is a lot more situational for titans and bosses (it's my preferred weapon on D2 and D3).
