2 天之前 · How about the saloon in 1675? Having seen the tables beginning to go back, it was also a treat to see Laura, Jane and Alice trial fitting curtains at the south end of the saloon. The result of the test is that they will need to be shortened so as to avoid the base of the window and consequently avoid any accumulated condensation.

6 天之前 · A heritage contact has had one restored professionally, and a fine job they did of it too. This caused us to look at our example a bit more closely, and also seek out what help might be available within the GWSR to make it more presentable.

2025年3月14日 · Wildlife report: A regular blog reader has been in touch with a concern about harming hedge hogs when strimming or brush cutting. When we are strimming or brush cutting any area; we always do a visual check before hand to spot any obstruction on the ground.

2025年3月13日 · We're delighted to confirm our first guest locomotive for our 'Railway 200 Cotswold Festival of Steam' as 34092 City of Wells! * Visiting courtesy of the East Lancashire Railway, it last ran on GWSR metals 10 years ago, on that occasion just missing out on a chance to run alongside its rebuilt big brother and former Salisbury shedmate 35006 P&O.

2025年2月5日 · Gotherington is not now needed to open again until the Steam Gala in late May, so we'll be taking G19 to pieces this week for it's own clean and paint. The Railway begins operations on Saturday 1st March. S&T have been beavering away getting the last few bits done ready to open. Points W19 at Winchcombe are now complete and tested.
