2010年8月11日 · The HD600 is excellent for movies since they are already equalized with added bass and treble. The HD600 is very comfortable and I can wear it for a long period of time, even while wearing glasses. If you are a fan of opera and chamber music, I highly recommend trying out the Sennheiser HD600.

2016年2月13日 · HD600 driver (incl. baffle) = order code: 091570 HD650 driver (incl. baffle) = order code: 092855 I measured the THD (in the lows) also to be just slightly higher in the HD600 vs the HD650. below CSD for HD600 and below that CSD for HD650 which shows the HD650 has better damped area around 2kHz so drivers appear not to be the same.

2019年10月8日 · Some people claim that there are important differences in the way an HD600 used to sound, versus newer production models. The same is said of the HD650. I'm not sure the headphone community was as freaked out about differences back in the day of the HD580, so I'm not sure there's much on the production history of those changing over time.

The pro-audio Sonarworks plugin (for VST/RTAS/AAX formats, 21 day trial available) has HD600 correction, and sure enough it corrects for some of the bass rolloff - but it also sounds weird to me elsewhere (at least on my setup & cans) so I started on my own curves, using Voxeng's GlissEQ ...

2011年9月15日 · However, the HD600 really needs a Cardas cable. It becomes a different headphone altogether - very much like a fine Grado with loads of soundstage: punchy deep bass, detailed and airy highs with mids to die for.

2014年11月4日 · The HD600 cable is functional – but relatively “light” in build. The HD650 cable is better built. There is (to me) no audible sonic difference between the two. The HD600 also has a plug with built in adaptor, whilst the HD650 plus is a standard 6.3mm. If I had my preference, I’d like the HD650 cable with the HD600 plug.

Now, I was reading the HD600 specs and the sensitivity was stated two different ways: 96dB @ 1mW and 112 dB @ 1V rms (which would be only 3.333mA for the 300 ohm HD600s).

2014年12月14日 · HD600 is full, lush mids, sound feels closer to your head, more intimate and relaxing. Not as exciting for some music. Tone is much more accurate - they sound very natural and realistic. It sounds like an old, but expensive hifi set your grandfather has. These are brilliant but there is something "old" sounding about them.

2017年10月29日 · BLUE = HD600 ORG = HD650KISS (I will grab a stock HD650 later and run the same measurement.) Note that the HD650K undershoots at the rise, slightly overshoots at the second rise, and decays smoother than the HD600. It's fair to say that the HD600 is less damped than the HD650K. The HD600 is a bit more lively and sharp sounding than the HD650KISS.

2014年1月20日 · It actually has a 6.3mm headphone jack, so you don't need Vali to use HD600, technically (if we ignore debate whether Vali sounds better than the headphone amplifier inside of Xonar). I believe the RCA output of Xonar (someone corrects me if I am wrong) is normal lineout, which avoids double amplification.
