Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; 21 April 1926 – 8 September 2022) was Queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms from 6 February 1952 until her death in 2022. She had been queen regnant of 32 sovereign states during her lifetime and was the monarch of 15 realms at her death.

HMS Queen Elizabeth is the lead ship of the Queen Elizabeth class of aircraft carriers. Capable of carrying 60 aircraft including fixed wing, rotary wing and autonomous vehicles, [20] she is named in honour of the first HMS Queen Elizabeth, a World War I era super-dreadnought, which in turn was named after Queen Elizabeth I.

On 27 July 1990 QE2 arrived and anchored in her allocated position. Shortly afterwards she was joined by the Cunarders Vistafjord and Atlantic Conveyor which both also took up their designated positions.

Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) is a retired British passenger ship converted into a floating hotel. Originally built for the Cunard Line, the ship was operated by Cunard as both a transatlantic liner and a cruise ship from 1969 to 2008. She was then laid up until converted and since 18 April 2018 has been operating as a floating hotel in Dubai. [4]

The Queen Elizabeth 2, or QE2 as she is commonly known was the flagship of the Cunard Line for over 30 years. QE2 made her maiden voyage in 1969 and is one of the last of the great Transatlantic liners. At 70,327 tons and 963 feet long with a top speed of 32.5 knots she is also one of the largest and fastest passenger vessels afloat.
