2023年11月4日 · Just a random thought, in the Halo story. the HMG38 was described as heavy and inconvenient to use, and eventually the CMA procured the VK78 to replace them. I just feel they are a bit like (but not exactly the same as) the M14 and M16 relationship in reality. I guess the HMG38 was modified to be locked in semi-automatic mode.
