Long story short, I reset Windows, updated my Bios, updated my Display adapter driver (and other drivers), did hard Disk check, memory test, tested compoments...all to no avail.

2020年7月16日 · Please I am experiencing stuttering or lagging issues with mouse movement, video streamings and almost eventually every activity that I do on my HP Notebook Core™ i3-7100u. The machine is having an AMD Radeon R5 graphics and anytime I update the drivers it starts lagging unless I reverse back to default drivers before I see a change.

In the game settings, change the graphics quality settings from ultra to a lower setting to reduce lag, increase FPS, and be less GPU intensive. Adjust the overall graphics quality. Adjust the shadows, texture quality, lighting, and other available settings to improve performance.

2019年1月9日 · I recently bought an HP Pavilion Gaming laptop that has an i7-8750H processor with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q Design. The laptop runs smoothly when on battery, however when plugged in starts lagging, especially while I'm gaming. Games drop from around 75-80 FPS to 20-25 FPS after I plug in the laptop to charge.

Computer performance will start to lag if your disk space or memory runs low. Your issue may be caused by low disk space on your computer hard drive or optical drive, or low memory on memory cards and other removeable USB storage devices.

2021年1月31日 · It happens when running at minimum or max performance. It can happen when the HP Command Center is set to any of the performance modes. I have also checked to see if it happens when the CPU temperature is cool or hot. Odd.

2022年8月30日 · I too have an HP Omen 16 laptop, just got it about 3 days ago, and I was having a similar problem with my GPU and CPU giving poor performance on benchmarks. What you need to do is press F10 on boot to to bios settings, and in configurations, in graphics switcher, change from Optimus to Discrete.

2024年4月21日 · I understand you need help with your laptop randomly having lag spikes. Can you check and monitor your CPU and Memory resources if both are maxed out? Like around 90-100% usage? Another thing to try is to make sure your laptop's Windows is up-to-date.
