As of today 04/01/2024 before reinstalling the HP monitor drivers it was showing up as a Generic PNP and now it shows the actual monitor type. Geeksquad says they can fix it and it's a free diagnostic if you're a member, as I informed them I think all it needs is the firmware update, but I'm not a member and don't want to spend so much money ...

BTW, I didn't have a VGA cable, so the HP w1907 19-inch Widescreen LCD Monitor is connected with an HDMI cable and VGA to HDMI adapter.
