2022年4月29日 · the power pins listed are correct, HP follows the same pinouts across almost all of their workstation models also, note the two "ambient sensor" pins these connect to a sensor imbedded in the power cable which sets the fan speed based on the air temp failure to connect this will result in the cpu/case fan(s) ramping up to full speed

2015年4月2日 · Its datasheet says "The HP Z Turbo Drive is supported on the Z230 SFF, Z230 Tower, Z420, Z620, Z820, Z440, Z640, and Z840." I presume this means that those models have BIOS support for pcie SSD booting, and that my Z220 does not. I suppose a BIOS update for the Z220 to support pcie SSD booting is a fantasy.

2019年1月10日 · For the CPU Power supply of the HP Z220 (4-pin) you can use the P2 connector of the Z420 PSU (8 pin). The 8 pinouts are Standard EPS 12V connector (pin 1...4 = GND, pin 5+6 = 12V1, pin 7+8 = 12 V2, V1/V2 both with max 18 A). I used an adapter to extend the short P2 cable and to connect to the 4 pin socket. And finally it worked.
