The Handley Page HPR.7 Dart Herald is a British turboprop passenger aircraft, designed in the 1950s as a DC-3 replacement, but only entering service in the 1960s by which time it faced stiff competition from Fokker (F27 Friendship) and Avro (Avro/Hawker Siddeley HS748).

Assembly was completed in Mar 1994, and it was later painted in the BEA colours seen here, even though it only briefly carried these colours for a few months in 1962. The Herald was officially unveiled as such in a ceremony on 16 April 1997. First production aircraft wearing BEA logo and also Handley Page titles.
