Initially powered by a 6.0L LS2 V8 engine, it transitioned to a 6.2L LS3 V8 in 2008, offering up to 325 kW (442 PS; 436 hp) in the E Series 2 version. The E Series 2, released in 2010, introduced a facelift with new bumpers, a twin-nostril bonnet, and updated engines, along with improved fuel economy, launch control, and competition mode ESC.
