Human umbilical vein endothelial cell - Wikipedia
Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) are cells derived from the endothelium of veins from the umbilical cord. They are used as a laboratory model system for the study of the function and pathology of endothelial cells (e.g., angiogenesis). [1]
Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells: HUVEC - Cell …
Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVEC) provide a classic model system to study many aspects of endothelial function and disease, such as normal, abnormal and tumor-associated angiogenesis, oxidative stress, hypoxia and inflammation related pathways in endothelia under normal and pathological conditions, cardiovascular-related complicatio...
Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVECs) Co-Culture with ...
Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) represent a widely used source of primary endothelial cells for in vitro studies of the vasculature and angiogenesis. HUVECs are relatively easy to isolate avoiding contamination by other cell types, and umbilical cord is readily available as discarded biological waste after the child’s birth.
HUVEC are human umbilical vein endothelial cells. Each vial of this product contains ≥5 × 105 cells that have been cryopreserved at the end of the primary culture stage in a medium containing 10% DMSO.
HUV-EC-C [HUVEC] - CRL-1730 - ATCC
HUV-EC-C [HUVEC] is an endothelial cell line that was isolated from the vein of the umbilical cord. This cell line can be used in cardiovascular disease research. Please fill out the form below to sign up for notification when the product becomes in stock. You were successfully signed up …
Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVEC) - PromoCell
Primary Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVEC) are isolated from the vein of the umbilical cord and are commonly used for physiological and pharmacological investigations, such as macromolecule transport, blood coagulation, angiogenesis, and fibrinolysis. We offer HUVEC isolated in standard Endothelial Cell Growth Medium.
Isolation and Culture of Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVECs)
In the last few decades, human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) have come to be regarded as a standard model system by vascular biologists to understand general principles of endothelial cell biology and dysfunction. Here, we describe …
HUVECs: Early predictors of cardiovascular risk in offspring? What …
Human umbilical venous endothelial cells (HUVECs) have long been utilized as an in vitro model for study of endothelial cell function and their response to different stimuli. In 2017 Brodowski et al reported that preeclampsia (PE) altered endothelial function in HUVECs (1).
Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells - STEMCELL
HUVECs can be used as an endothelial cell model to study physiological and pathological pathways, such as inflammation, angiogenesis, oxidative stress, hypoxia, and blood vessel formation. With personalized service, custom products, and flexible delivery times, we help you get the cells you need.
Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVEC) Culture Protocol
Subculture the cells when the HUVEC culture reaches 80% confluency. Remove the Trypsin-EDTA solution (T3924) and Trypsin Inhibitor (T6414) from the -20 °C freezer and thaw overnight in a refrigerator. Make sure all the subculture reagents are thawed. Swirl each bottle gently several times to form homogeneous solutions.
