More than anything, the HWK-290 is an enabling force for a well-built squad, either buffering allied defenses, opening up weak points to exploit, or messing with firing order during the combat phase. Underestimated, the HWK can wreak havoc. Lets begin with the original Rebel HWK's; two builds per ship.

2022年12月31日 · Not scum version, but when flying rebels, the HWK-290 certainly gave great support. It’s as versatile as the Lambda shuttles, but very points-light comparatively. Great command of the field with a small base.

2021年10月7日 · A funny "fact" about the HWK-290: According to Force and Destiny roleplaying game rulebook, the HWK has 75 Encumberance worth of cargo space. It also has 5 hardpoints for customization. One customization option is hidden cargo compartment, which costs 1 hardpoint and can hide up to 25 Encumberance worth of cargo space.

2014年9月9日 · When I first saw the Hwk-290, I immediately thought it was too small. It looks to be about the size of an X-wing, maybe slightly larger. I'm not sure. However the Hwk is a light freighter (or so I thought) with a pilot and co-pilot and cargo space etc.

2021年6月5日 · HWK-290 Dropship So I had this idea of a Rebel SpecOps squad (think like Seal Team 6) using a modified HWK-290 as a dropship. The obvious first move is to replace the cargo hold with crew seats and lockers.

2018年11月28日 · From what I remember, there really haven't been ANY depictions of the interior of a HWK-290, save for a few cockpit shots in Jedi Knight and one pic of the same in a Han Solo kids book. It's supposed to have a decon shower in there, too. For an RPG, I had only one word to describe the rest of the interior: "cramped."
