Jay was involved at some level with the murder. He can't fabricate the exact location of the car. There can not be a third party (serial) murderer. Unless the serial killer told Jay the location of the car (AND Jay didn't mention the serial killer to the police) Therefore there are only two possibilities left: a. Jay acted alone b.
