2023年10月14日 · As much as Doom came before it, Halo and its franchise established the console shooter. The only really contemporary game in the Doom franchise to any of the Halo games was Doom 3 with Halo 2. Doom64 had been 4 years prior, and the next main series Doom game after that wouldn't come out until 2014, when the Master Chief Collection was released.

At least for multiplayer, I truly think with custom games, if they’re in halo infinite, they could most definitely transfer things into halo like the weapons and do modes with increased speeds that have both halo and doom weapons (or just doom) and essentially integrate the doom experience into one package.

Meanwhile, Doom makes me feel like the ultimate badass. Level Design: Doom. Run jump platform and search for hidden areas and old school doom levels for fun! Halo... fuck the library.

2021年9月21日 · I’m not a fan of Doom Eternal’s aesthetic in general. It was genuine disappointment going from the grounded universe of 2016 where’d you have to rip off the arms of dead UAC staff to enter locked rooms, to the neon arcade aesthetic of Eternal where’d you simply walk over a giant green floating key card.

2021年12月12日 · Before Halo, Doom Eternal was the undesputed king. Halo is sublime in that you can tackle the fight in any number of ways and all the guns feel fantastic. With Doom, I kind of stuck to same weapons more often than not but really loved the intensity of the combat.
