Han Fei (c. 280 – 233 BC), also known as Han Feizi, was a Chinese Legalist philosopher and statesman [1] during the Warring States period. He was a prince of the state of Han. [2]

Han Feizi (born c. 280, China—died 233 bce, China) was the greatest of China’s Legalist philosophers. His essays on autocratic government so impressed Qin Shi Huang that the future emperor adopted their principles after seizing power in 221 bce. The Hanfeizi, the book named after him, comprises a synthesis of legal theories up to his time.

Hang-Fei received the PhD degree from Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC) in 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Shu-Li You. In December 2019 he joined Prof. G. Suero group as a postdoctoral researcher. Outside the lab, Hangfei enjoys photography, cooking, and singing.
