2018年4月28日 · Its a real pain to kill them the old fashioned way, especially stone hatches with their 200 hp. My design for a hatch drowning-butchery (weight plate and mechanized airlocks with water beneath it) doesnt seem to work, the hatchlings just jump over the open doors (bug?). Does anyone has another idea how to drown hatches efficiently?

2021年8月10日 · Build a ranch of 96 tiles (either tall, or use an internal 3-high tile+door to limit the travel distance of the hatches without shrinking the room size), install an autosweeper and conveyor loader set to remove all four hatch egg types, move the eggs to a 2 tile (1 tile deep) wide pit with water in it and a locked mesh door on top.

2023年7月11日 · Behold our hatch build solution! The design uses a top divider to populate each ranch. When a ranch is short of hatches, the door on the right of the divider opens, allowing the water/oil lock to push the hatches into the ranch. These hatches land on the first closed door, usually leading to the ranch that is in need of a hatch.
