Powder and bullet - Hunt Talk
2021年2月14日 · Well I haven’t been in the muzzleloader game in over 10 years. But I stumbled on one of the clearance Walmart Optima V2‘s so it looks like the boy will be adding another season to deer season next year. So what is everyone shooting for powder and bullets today? I used to shoot Powerbeats and Jim Shockey had a BP powder substitute I used.
Rabbit/Hare SWA Colorado - Hunt Talk
2019年11月9日 · I haven't hunted small game near Steamboat. I have mainly seen snowshoe hares up around 8-9500 feet. I haven't spent a lot of time in the lower BLM, but you should be able to find Cottontails and Jacks at lower elevations. I know that isn't a ton of info, but that's what I …
Hornady 130 gr CX - Hunt Talk
2014年6月25日 · Good to see others shooting this round thru their 270WSM. I bought heavy at the introduction since 270WSM ammo options seemed to have dwindled. My gun seems to shoot them pretty well. I also have some Federal Trophy Copper that my gun likes. I haven't used any on game at this point. I'm keeping the 270WSM as my "anything bigger than Deer" gun.

2012年10月23日 · Not interested in deer. I haven't seen a bigger than average muley in probably 10 years. I'm not one of those that shoots a dink just to fill a tag. IMO the muley season should be closed for a season, statewide. Give them a chance to bounce back a little. Flame away!
game bags, Caribou Gear really worth it? | Hunt Talk
2016年7月5日 · Stay away from the "Alaskan Game Bag" that are basically stretchy cheese cloth. They are useless, blow flies can lay eggs through them, and they offer very little protection from much outside grass and large debris. One thing about quality game bags is they last a really long time if you take care of them.
7-08 / Big Game - Hunt Talk
2017年1月20日 · I used 21 rounds on this ladder test because I was using Big Game, a spherical powder, and its different from the stick powders I've worked with in the past (Varget, H4350, H4895, H4831SC). I went exactly with the load data published on Nosler's website for the 140gn AB's in 7mm-08 which ranges from 43.5gn (min) to 47.5gn (max).
Bozeman Wild game Processing - Hunt Talk
2019年10月23日 · Can anyone recommend a spot in the Gallatin Valley for wild game processing? Also, curious as what people tend to go with cut wise when getting their deer processed? I’ve had summer sausage with jalapeños and cheddar that I really liked so I plan on getting a few pounds of that. I haven’t eaten too much Venison so please bare with me.
Laramie area processor? - Hunt Talk
2018年5月18日 · I would highly recommend North Park meats in Walden. Good product, fast, and shipping company goes anywhere. I know they get a lot of wild game animals from the Saratoga side. I'm almost positive there is no regulations bringing things across the border, PM me and can give you more info and the the different wardens numbers on both side of the ...
Montana Mountain Goat Hunt
2024年8月30日 · One thing I haven't read much on is the meat. I ended up grinding most, as it's very chewy, but might be the best tasting wild game in my opinion. Reactions: 130gr , NWMT , Carl 9.3x62 and 57 others
