H'x Cel is a very obscure German band that managed to release only one album in the 70's before releasing two more after reformation in the late 90's. The title of this work is slightly of misleading, suggesting that this is group's sophomore effort. Their music cannot closely be compared to any bands.

Häx Cel from Hanover only existed between the end of 1971 and the autumn of 1972, releasing one LP and one 7"-single on Dizzy Records, both of which have so far been hardly known even among collectors. Many fans of a fusion between classical music and progressive rock will appreciate this effort.

Häx Cel came together in Hanover, capital city of Lower Saxony, in late 1971 with the aim of combining classical music (Händel, Albinoni, Bach, Vivaldi and Beethoven) with progressive rock. If it was not the first attempt of that kind - and the band had never claimed that it was - it was certainly a very successful one.
