The HCAR uses a 30 round BAR magazine, which has got to be pretty heavy, especially with 30 rounds of 30-06. Now think of having to carry multiple mags, ammo, etc. Like, the switch from 7.62 to 5.56 allowed a soldier to carry more ammo; this is going in the opposite direction.

The only game I have ever seen the HCAR was in Battlefield Hardline. I said as a BONUS, this could turn into a throwback weapon via Gunsmith. The HCAR has lots of modifications in real life AND is chambered in .30-06 which would help make it unique among all the 7.62 and 5.56 rifles.
