2020年5月7日 · An enduro bike and the Hei Hei would make a great 2 bike combo, but the Jeffsy I have would be too similar. Hei Hei would actually replace the trail bike and an xc ht I have. I also have always thought that Kona is expensive, but now when I compare the Hei Hei CR with similarly specced bikes it’s actually not more expensive than most of them.

2022年11月12日 · Dusted off the Hei Hei (I usually ride my hardtail in the winter) and after two rides, it started to creak like crazy. Tore apart the lower pivot, cleaned all the crap out of it from one wet ride, and the bike was quiet again. Decided enough was enough. Sold off the frame. I loved the bike, but I think that lower pivot design kinda sucks.

2020年5月14日 · The Process is a mid travel trail bike with a much more Burly feel. The base build kit is also pretty low end and heavy, I favor the Hei Hei here too. I happen to own both of these bikes and they're both incredible for what they're intended to do. The Hei Hei will suit you better though, I promise you won't be disappointed.

2020年7月26日 · I have a LOT of questions about suspension bearings. I've ridden ridden road and hardtails for forever. I got my first full suspension xc mtb (Kona Hei Hei) end of 2017. The big issue is I had the shop replace all linkage bearings end of 2019 season. They used enduro max bearings if I recall correctly.

2007年8月23日 · Since dis-continuing the old T Hei-Hei they've gone and used the "Hei-Hei" name on that aluminium full suss thing pictured above; The new Ti hardtail doesn't come in 29er, and; It's TOTALLY fugly. All in all, nothing to get excited about and certainly not a patch on my lovely '98 Ti Kona.

2023年5月2日 · Up for sale is my 2022 Kona Hei Hei CR/DL custom build. Long story short, I purchased a new Santa Cruz Blur for a killer price. As such, I am keeping the Blur and letting this go. There are many parts that I swapped out from my Blur, and I only was able to ride this bike twice, so this is almost a new full build.
