We all know about the HEV mk4 and mk5 suits, but is there any idea or speculation what the Mk1-3 suits may have been like? just curious. I like to think of the early renditions of the HEV suit are the previous models. Mark III.

I can see why the H.E.C.U were units associated with combat, and the HEV Mark 5 being made in the events Half - Life 2, but I never understood the reason for it being purposely designed for also weapons (Maybe for prototype weapons for safety?)
