The Hazardous Environment Suit, also called the HEV and Hazard Suit, is a suit made of armor commonly worn by Black Mesa scientists and researchers, it has been designed to protect them from the dangerous experiments they perform. It is worn throughout the entirety of Half life by the game's protagonist Gordon Freeman.
