HXG (H-series pixel-level global) is a global merger of the information from HXS common to all satellites and is mapped and provided every 3 h on a 0.10 ∘ equal angle grid (∼ 240 files per month).

The H-Series data includes several products. These include: HXS (H-series pixel level single satellite - not in netcdf), HXG (H-series pixel level gridded), HGG (H-series Gridded Global), HGH (H-series gridded monthly by hour), and * HGM ( H-series Gridded Monthly). The netCDF files are not structured with CF-standard names.

The HXG product is a global merger of the HXS products (see description of procedure in Mapping and Satellite Merger section), providing global 3-hourly maps in a 0.1° equal-angle grid, which includes only the parameters common to all satellites.
