Getting to High Falls State Park is convenient, as it is located just off Interstate 75 in Georgia. Here are directions to help you reach the park easily: From Atlanta: Take I-75 South towards Macon. Take Exit 198 for GA-36 toward Jackson. Merge onto GA-36, then follow signs for High Falls State Park. The park entrance will be on your right.

High Falls State Park. Located 2 miles East of Exit 198 on Interstate 75, the tallest waterfall south of Atlanta is accompanied by nearly 5 miles of trails, a 600-acre lake, over 100 campsites, and recreational amenities like putt-putt golf, a swimming pool, and watercraft rentals.

This pretty park in middle Georgia is conveniently located near I-75 and makes a restful side trip for travelers. For visitor safety, swimming is allowed in the pool only, but not the river or falls. Numerous rocks submerged in the river have deep holes eroded in them, and these can easily trap or injure someone.
