From the workbench: A HK4 cautionary tale | HKPRO Forums
2019年3月3日 · The HK4 is one of those pistols that I have long admired from a distance but somehow never seemed to acquire. The P9S always seemed to take priority. During one of the HK Pro Days that Jim organized, I remember his kinda shaking his head about it and saying that it made for a fine rimfire plinker but that service life of the receiver dropped to ...
"New" HK HK4 - HKPRO Forums
2021年6月23日 · As mentioned above regarding the HK4's receiver being weak for the 380 round, I've heard the same thing about the Mauser HSc, even though it has a steel receiver. A gunsmith friend of mine in Germany says that 32 Auto is the way to go when shooting one of those. Makes only total sense that this would apply to its next of kin, the alloy framed HK4.
Premature buffer death in my HK4 | HKPRO Forums
2013年4月23日 · Having made about a dozen HK4 buffers out of all kinds of crazy materials there are two clear winners. 1) LDPE (low density polyethylene) Slightly squishier than its high density cousin (for example, Home Depot buckets are HDPE) it is plenty hard enough to take the abuse and really easy to cut and trim to the right size.

2010年8月30日 · HK4 w/2 conversions: $700-1100, usually this is seen as a .380ACP with .32ACP and .22lr kits. Serial numbers usually don't match each other (though they may have matching targets to accompany them). At this cost ($1100, I'd say wait until you find a nice complete set). HK4 complete factory set: $1000-2500.

2024年1月4日 · Hey everyone, I need to replace the recoil buffer in my HK4 pistol. I see them on Gunbroker and EBay for sale. If there is a certain one I should purchase, please let me know. Thanks, Terry
HK4 and P9S use in German police service - HKPRO Forums
2022年5月3日 · Vielen Dank für die gute Auskunft collani!!! I better do the rest in English to keep everybody in the loop. The link you provided was outstanding. I once had an HK4 pistol in 9mm kurz that had a test target proofed in 1986, so it must have been lying around the HK factory for a while after production stopped which you say was in 1984.
HK4 issues w/.22lr - HKPRO Forums
2009年8月7日 · I have a hk4 in .22 and initially I couldn't get the thing to fire any type of ammo consistently (even the high/hyper velocity stuff). In Australia .22 ammo is getting expensive Cci stingers are about 22-25c per shot, the federal value packs or the Remington bucket of bullets are about half that. I wanted my hk4 .22 to cycle the cheap stuff!
HK Model 4 | HKPRO Forums
2024年12月13日 · There are much better guns out there for use. For that matter, the HSc is a more durable gun than the HK4 and there are better choices out there than it too. You have to consider the context of when these things were made. When the HK4 was made it was quite innovative. So…what would you be getting it for? If you are a collector…👍
