The Treaty of al-Hudaybiya (Arabic: صُلح الْحُدَيْبِيَة, romanized: Ṣulḥ al-Ḥudaybiya) was an event that took place during the lifetime of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. It was a pivotal treaty between Muhammad, representing the state of Medina, and the tribe of the Quraysh in Mecca in March 628 (corresponding to Dhu al-Qi'dah, AH 6).

Pact of Al-Ḥudaybiyah, (628), compromise that was reached between Muḥammad and Meccan leaders, in which Mecca gave political and religious recognition to the growing community of Muslims in Medina. Muḥammad had been approaching Mecca with approximately 1,400 followers in order to perform the ʿumrah (pilgrimage) as directed in a dream.

Ḥudaybīyya Peace Treaty (Arabic: صلح الحُدَيبيَّة) was a treaty which was signed in Hudaybiyya region in 6 /628 between the Prophet (s) and the polytheists of Mecca and was addressed in Qur'an 48. This treaty was signed when Muslims went to Mecca to perform hajj rituals but encountered the prevention of polytheists of Quraysh.

Amr, the envoy of the Quraysh, came to the presence of the Messenger of God. He knelt down in front of him. The Prophet was sitting cross-legged. The Muslims were sitting around him. Suhayl b. Amr talked for a long time; then, he made a peace offer. The Prophet accepted to make peace. Then, they negotiated the articles of the peace treaty.

2021年10月4日 · A significant incident in the history of Islam, the treaty of Hudaibiyah was signed in the sixth year after Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his followers left Makkah. Despite their victory in the battle of Badr, the Muslims during that time were not strong enough to attack the Pagans of Makkah.

On that, the Prophet ordered a detour through mountain gorges, so the Muslims were tired out when they came down at last into the valley of Mecca and encamped at a spot called Hudaybiyyah; from thence he tried to open negotiations with the Quraish, to explain that he came only as a pilgrim.
