2025年2月5日 · Hey there, I recently picked up an R8. I don't really like the rubber grips and have had Hogue G10's on other guns. The round butt conversion finger groove smooth or piranha are what I'm looking at. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Andy

2019年7月18日 · If you are looking for more girth, then I think that the Hogue grips would be better versus the Talon's. I recently put a pair of Hogue handall grips which has a beavertail, grips. on my G27. Oh my God, they were almost impossible to install, Windex and all. I haven't been to the range yet to test them out, but so far they feel good in the hand.

2006年1月27日 · Hogue rubber grips can take a lot of whittling and they are cheap enough. I finally got a pair of big butt grips but that's only because I got to try them at the IRC in 04, 50-60 pairs of grips on a table and they all felt "wrong"

2011年6月29日 · The standard Hogue round to square butt conversion rubber grips with the backstrap exposed just did not provide enough gripping surface for my hand and they just never felt "right". I find that these X Frame hogue grips have much better ergonomics (a more natural grip area and grip angle, and better trigger finger placement).

2012年10月3日 · Here are two(2) of mine w/Hogue rosewood laminate grips; I like finger grooves on short-barreled magnums which tend to twist. roar and buck with full power loads. On heavier, 4-6" plain grips are fine..tend to stick with Pachmayr or Hogue rubber on those.
