Feb 15, 2022 · Don’t listen to these people, Holee modding my spacebars has been by far the most effective way to reduce rattle and stabilizer noise. Make sure the stem is completely dry, like brand new. If you are trying to clean and reuse an old one, it probably won’t work.
First time holee modding stabilizers and I think it came out
Apr 11, 2021 · The stabs that came with my keyboard were prelubed and rattly AF so I lubed over them with litium grease and it got rid of the chaka chaka chaka sound but its still ticking and it was driving me crazy. then I found the holee mod, tried it and got mindblowing results. I actually feel like I won the lottery. No more rattle and no more ticking.
Thoughts on Holee mod and dealing with stabilizer ticking
Aug 13, 2023 · The only stabs I didn’t find the need to holee mod so far were the Owlstabs in the QK75. They were great. Apart from that, I always holee mod because even the OEM stabilisers become great imo. Pricier stabs like Durock, Everglide, etc gave me more issues than the cheaper cherry screw-ins in my (limited) experience
Mushy Stabs after Holee Mod : r/MechanicalKeyboards - Reddit
Jun 20, 2021 · The only mods I did to them were the holee mod, lubed the inner walls of the stab housing/outer walls of the stab slider, and dielectric grease where the stab wires make contact with the stabs. My left shift feels fine, spacebar feels great, the enter key feels the most "perfect", but the backspaces feels mushy.

Mar 9, 2021 · From my experience, the holee mod works best with a thin strip of the tan colored part of the bandaid—the cotton part probably won't fit. For the mod itself, you just cut a small strip of bandaid and stick it in the bottommost hole of the stabilizer stem.
A little question about the Holee Mod : r/MechanicalKeyboards
Oct 19, 2021 · After using the holee mod a couple of times, i feel that different stabs react to the holee mod differently. I have stabs that with the holee mod, still feels smooth, but i also have those that once the holee mod is in place, it has this tactile feeling, or …

Jan 20, 2022 · I Holee modded my Durock V2’s and am going to revert back to stock lubed with Krytox 205g0. They’re super mushy and inconsistent. Not to mention when I first installed them with my normal amount of lube (with the Holee mod) they were getting stuck.
question about the holee mod. : r/MechanicalKeyboards - Reddit
Jan 24, 2022 · hey guys, i recently build a keyboard and have a question about the holee mod, and just stabs over all. Is it worth it to holee mod, or does dielectric grease sound just as good if not better. I built the keyboard in a gmmk pro 75, Zeal pc stabs, Boba U4T switches (lubed and filmed), and am wondering how i can get a better sound of my stabs.
When applying Holee mod, do I apply dielectric grease or ... - Reddit
Jul 15, 2021 · Holee mod works best with a lighter grease; like Krytox 205g0. Either dip into grease and don’t use the Holee mod, or use Holee mod with a generous, but even coat of 205. In my most recent build, I’ve used 205 to lube the stems & housings and only XHT-BDZ inside the wire holes and the wire ends.
