2015年4月16日 · I'm having basically the exact same problem with a new Holley 4160, I just purchased on a 351 marine engine. The engine will not idle with the mixture screws out 1.5 turns, without rich black smoke with all possible adjustments to the idle speed screw. The only way I could get it to idle, was with both mixture screws fully closed (seated).

The list number for most performance and factory 2 and 4 barrel carburetors will be found stamped into the upper right hand corner of the airhorn or sometimes called the choke tower. On the 4150 HP models that do not have a choke tower the list number will be stamped into the mainbody behind the throttle linkage.

2015年9月7日 · I understand where ported timed vacuum comes from, and that vacuum is only sourced from above the throttle plates. I understand on different models of Holley carbs, this is accomplished several different ways. One coming from the metering block as you stated. I guess I should have been more specific, in regards to the base plate I was referring to.

It's a Holley. On the air horn the top number is 3885067-EE, the next line is List 3246, and the next is 3682. I get the List number, but what are the other numbers and is there a way to tell what car this carb is from?

2023年6月24日 · Hi there. I have a Brawler BR-67314 850cfm on my 454. It's experiencing a lean condition while trying to cruise. If there's a slight incline in the road it works perfect. My AFR gauge reads 13 and runs awesome. When the road levels out, it starts to surge and has a 17ish reading on the gauge. It seems to like the little extra
