The Hallowed Key is a key that the player can use to unlock any Hallowed Chest in the Dungeon. It can only unlock the Hallowed Chest when Plantera has been defeated. It has a 1:2500 (0.04%) drop rate by any monster that is in The Hallow biome.

Keys are a category of tools, most being used to open locked Chests. Apart from the Shadow Key, all keys are consumed upon use. Biome Keys can only be used once Plantera has been defeated.

2023年5月23日 · If you're in a Hallow biome, you can get a Hallowed Key. Just about any enemy can drop biome keys, so long as you're in the right biome. This farm might not be in a very good place, though -- I don't think lava traps work very well against Pixies. I recommend moving it down to the Caverns layer so you're getting Underground Hallow stuff.

2020年5月23日 · Contrary, if you are in the Dungeon but the Hallow music plays (e.g. from a nearby Hallow Underground) the dungeon monsters can drop the key. If you actually want to farm the keys (fully afk), this is the video for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKMgtxL7w7A. We got one randomly and don't even have a hallowed chest on our world.
