2009年1月2日 · After dealing with dim lights, poor running conditions, and faulty points, I broke down and purchased a CDI Electronic Ignition Conversion for my Honda SL70 points motor in my Monkey bike from the Seller: Xrarespares on Ebay. He's out of Malaysia. You simply keep your current 6V system, but swap the points with a CDI ignition.

2024年3月14日 · Hi, with the help of this group, my father and I were able to resurrect my grandfather's old Honda SL70 (it's either a 1970 or 1971) about 15 years ago. The original motor was shot, so we put a Chinese engine in it that I found on eBay. Wiring it was tricky, but we ended up figuring it out.

2012年2月28日 · Midlothian racer SL70 front end questions Just had another question regarding the SL70 wheels and front end parts. The front end is uses stock fork sliders and lowers. The tripletree bottom and top clamp were widened 6mm by cutting it and rewelding them.

Anyone know of any other options for an exhaust? either old Honda or aftermarket is cool. Preferably performance for my 88cc kitted SL70. I'd like to find a low mount exhaust but i'm open to anything that will fit around the frame ...

2009年9月9日 · I have a 1973 Honda SL70 and would like to get a engine with alot more HP, What chinese engine is a direct bolt on and looks as much like the original SL70 as possible. 110-125-140 Does anyone have a good replacement engine in mind and where to buy it. Thanks for any help. Randy

2012年12月27日 · I am installing a sl70 based 88 in a 1981 z50r, I installed the motor and it started for a couple seconds and died. (sl70 with z50 coil,no condenser in the circuit) and noticed afterword that there is no condenser on the sl70 stator.

2014年4月3日 · Hi guys, i'm building a little street tracker out of a '72 SL70 and I'd like to put a slightly longer swingarm and taller shocks on it to gain an inch or two in seat height. Does anyone know of any old model honda swingarms that may bolt right on to the SL? I was thinking maybe an XL or SL100 arm would work.

2010年10月24日 · I have a 1971 Honda SL70 that we put a new Lifan 125cc engine and carb into. It's running rough, like it needs some type of carb adjustment. There isn't much to adjust on these carbs. Sometimes it runs better with the choke wide open, then running like that for 20 min or so, it runs better with the choke closed (and vice versa). Very strange.
