The Barclay Hotel is a historic hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, California. Located at the corner of 4th Street and Main Street , it was originally owned by real estate developer Isaac Newton Van Nuys and opened as the Van Nuys Hotel in 1897.

It is the oldest hotel in continuous operation in Los Angeles. The hotel was a commercial investment by Isaac Newton Van Nuys, one of Los Angeles’ wealthiest businessmen and landowners. Designed by the firm of Morgan and Walls, the six-story Beaux Arts-style building with Romanesque features cost over $275,000 to build.

AHF purchased the 158-unit Barclay—the oldest continually operating hotel in Los Angeles—in October and has been working to renovate and upgrade the units before people move in. The Barclay is located at 103 West 4 th Street, Los Angeles CA 90013.
