You can access the internet, print documents, scan receipts and so on. The facilities vary a little bit from hotel to hotel. Often it is next to the hotel lobby, and not very private.

'Business center' usage in hotels is 99% people using it for business purposes, and it’s actually pretty rare to need color copies of printed documents, so black and white is sufficient for most users. –

I want to say "show me the cheapest hotel reachable from the city center in less than 20 minutes by public transport" and have the search engine do the heavy lifting for me. Or "show me every hotel that's reachable from the airport without changing metro lines". –

2016年10月8日 · Go to the business center. There is almost always wired connections and better wifi in the business center. Again, almost all hotels have this. Use your cell phone tethering. Yep it sucks, but if your getting bad speeds at the hotel, then it may be your only option. You may need to be more realistic about your network needs.

Business-oriented booking sites sometimes even have cancellation up to early evening of first day of the stay. (HRS.de is advertising this on TV right now in Germany as their main feature).
