It takes a different style of hound than the competition coon dog. The guys I know that are catching 150-200 bobcats a year are running primarily running walker type dogs, some crossed with bluetick. Adios,

There are some old cold nosed dogs that don't open much on track and then there are some hot nosed dog that don't open much on track becouse they don't track over 100 yards. My dad ran Triggs & Goodman Hounds on fox in the 40's & 50's..The Triggs were not any different in size than any other hound..As far as treeing, some fox hounds would switch off the fox chase and tree a coon. 2025年1月6日 · Used to and I'm only 36 yrs old when a young man or young hunter needed a hound someone would give them a pup or young dog no questions asked. Now my nephew has been lied to 4 different times by reputable breeders about a pup.

2019年10月28日 · All the ones I'm referring to came directly from Kemp at approx. 5 months. I've been impressed with the later ones although the earlier ones were good dogs they just didn't open good. You need to tell him what you want in a dog and he'll try to get that for you. They all aren't going to work out but a very large percentage will if you do your part.
