To insert a page break before a paragraph: Select the entire paragraph or click anywhere into the paragraph. Select an option: • In the toolbar, go to Line & paragraph spacing Add page break before. • At the top, go to Format Line & paragraph spacing Add page break before.

To insert a page break before a paragraph: Open a file in the Google Docs app. Tap Edit . At the top right, tap More turn on Print layout. Double-tap the paragraph in your document. Tap Format tap Paragraph. Turn on Add page break before. Tip: To have a heading stay at the top of a new page, you can select it and use Add page break before.

Apr 15, 2019 · Thanks for your reply. The document is not long (6 pages) and copying and pasting the content does not work, nor does making a copy. Again, if I just select all and cut (all content) from the document, it does allow me to insert page breaks again, so it seems that some of the content is preventing me from adding a page break.

Jan 23, 2016 · From addons menu of Google Doc > get addons Search for 'Doc Table'. Once you add this to your docs addon menu, you can either split a row in to next page or line. This will work only for table contents inside Google Docs.

Apr 28, 2021 · I see that "keep with next" was something a user could do at one point in Docs, but no longer. Can users do other paragraph formatting options, especially Page break before a specific text style? What I'm trying to avoid is having to insert page breaks manually. I want "page break before" to be a component of a paragraph style.
